Your new Risewell home includes a Deako modular lighting system that has simple rocker switches throughout. You can choose one of two upgrade packages—a smaller package to get started with the essentials or a larger package to bring smart lighting to your whole home.

Adding a Deako Lighting package to your home loan gives you the flexibility to pay for upgraded specialty switches as part of your mortgage payment and the ability to enjoy Deako’s lighting solutions when you move in. Depending on what package you choose and your mortgage rate, we have options that work out to about $5.36 or $14.31 a month rolled into your mortgage.

You can add your Deako package to your home purchase, rolling it into the home loan. Your principal will increase by the cost of the upgrade, and you won’t need to take out an additional loan or pay cash out-of-pocket. 

After closing on your home, these specific packages will no longer be available to purchase. Of course, you can still purchase any products directly from Deako, but will not be eligible to roll the payments into your mortgage or receive a 2-year warranty on select packages.

We will ship the upgrade pack to you a few weeks after you move into your new home. We’ll provide step-by-step instructions, so that you can quickly install the switches on your own. Our Support team is always available to assist if you have any questions or run into hiccups. 

The two upgrade packages are the only ones that Risewell has approved to roll into your mortgage. You can buy individual products from deako.com or work with our Lighting Consultants to create a custom package, but those options do not come with a 2-year warranty or professional installation.

The contents of the two upgrade packages are fixed and not customizable. If these packages don’t meet your lighting needs after you move in, please contact our Lighting Consultants and we’ll work together to find a resolution.
